ABOUT US

Our Story

Alterra creates intelligently designed, socially inclusive environments that define every area they become a part of.

Supported by exceptionally high standards of construction, their skill lies in masterfully crafting buildings that go on to define neighbourhoods.

Alterra achieves this by working from the outside in, conceptualizing the history, architectural character, culture and personality of a location and translating it into a home.

Their success comes from understanding that the complex relationship between people and place should be the guiding force behind every decision.

From innovative designs to a team of talented professionals, every Alterra condominium exemplifies an absolute commitment to building thriving communities. This philosophy goes right down to their level of consideration when selecting materials and curating surrounding commercial developments. Managed entirely by their own team, Alterra has complete control over the quality and delivery of their projects from start to finish.

Trusted by homebuyers for over 40 years, Alterra’s achievement is built upon a commitment to customer service and satisfaction that goes far beyond conventional industry standards. With more than 5,000 homes and award winning condominiums to their credit, Alterra has established a well-deserved reputation for creating legendary communities across the Greater Toronto Area and Golden Horseshoe.

Alterra continues to be an industry leader when it comes to shaping urban and suburban landscapes—committed to building dynamic properties that impact the areas surrounding them, and creating communities that harbour a unique feeling one can only describe as Alterra.

Each Alterra project begins with a committed team that takes the time get to know their client. They visualize their client's desired community, and materialize their findings to shape an area and bring it to life. Understanding the complex relationship between people and place is the guiding force behind every decision Alterra makes.

From innovative designs to a team of talented professionals, every Alterra condominium represents the company's absolute commitment to excellence. That's the definition of Alterra. That’s the definition of home.
